The Melbourne office of Norton Rose Fulbright features Kvadrat curtain and upholstery textiles throughout. It is located on the top three floors of the iconic Olderfleet building at 477 Collins Street, a recently renovated commercial tower in the heart of the city.

The interior concept weaves in a theatrical narrative, inspired by the city’s cultural heritage and the fact that the site was originally designed by William Pitt, the Australian architect and politician renowned for creating celebrated theatres.

Reflecting this approach, dramatic, heavy curtains – crafted from the Kvadrat textiles Daybreak, Harald and Hero – play a central role on the Client and Assembly floors. They reference theatre production and the professional personal of lawyers who move from client meetings to perform 'on-stage' at court.

The curtains introduce intimacy and softness, and meet a key client objective: the ability to achieve varying levels of privacy. Specifically, they allow for reconfiguration and veiling of spaces, facilitating collaboration and avoiding conflicts of interest between clients when passing through the key client floors.

Kvadrat textiles are used on furniture throughout the NFR office. Armchairs are upholstered in Hero and Coda; sofas in Divina MD and Melange Nap; and chairs in Steelcut Trio. Tonica is specified for the workstations.
