The 4-star Hotel Melchior Park opened in 2017. Located near the centre of Würzburg, adjacent to the campus of the University of Würzburg, it offers views across the German cathedral city.

Surrounded by a park-like garden, the Hotel Melchior Park offers 118 rooms, a restaurant, bar and spa, as well as conference and meeting facilities. The laid-back, contemporary interior is designed by interior architect studio büro proform.

The concept for the hotel is characterised by a combination of assorted materials and individually selected furniture. This is used to bring a variety of accents to the different zones of the hotel.

Solution
Furniture and decorative surfaces in the hotel rooms are upholstered in a variety of Kvadrat textiles. Remix 2 is used for sofas, chairs and footstools, Stick Tree for bed covers, Sunniva for headboards, and Coda 2 as well as Blitz 2 for pillows. These are predominantly specified in soft, natural tones.
